Carrie Underwood to Perform 'America the Beautiful' at Donald Trump's Inauguration 2025
Carrie Underwood is supporting President-elect Donald Trump.
The 41-year-old American Idol winner is set to perform at the 78-year-old’s forthcoming inauguration, to be held on January 20, 2025 in Washington, D.C.
In a preview of a program from the inauguration from reporter Matthew Foldi, Carrie is listed as performing “America the Beautiful” alongside The Armed Forces Chorus and The United States Naval Academy Glee Club.
Trump‘s transition team confirmed the report to Axios.

The musical prelude for the event will be performed by The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Combined Choirs. The prelude will be performed by the United States Marine Band.
The National Anthem is to be performed by singer Christopher D. Macchio. The Battle Hymn of the Republic will be performed by the United States Naval Academy Glee Club.
Benedictions will be delivered by Rabbi Dr. Ari Berman, Imam Husham Al-Husainy, Senior Pastor Lorenzo Sewell and The Reverend Father Frank Mann.
Trump‘s 2017 inauguration day featured performances from the Radio City Rockettes and Jackie Evancho, a former America’s Got Talent runner-up.
