Love Island’s Matilda Draper looks stunning in plunging dress after pulling out of All Stars talks amid Towie romance

LOVE Island’s Matilda Draper has shown the All Stars villa what it’s missing after slipping into a sexy black dress with plunging neckline.

Matilda, who had been in talks to appear on ITV2’s winter series, was snapped in the LBD during a night out.

The 24-year-old star’s super-short dress featured capped sleeves and left little to the imagination thanks to the way it was cut around the bust.

Matilda shared several snaps of herself wearing the eye-catching number with fans on Instagram, captioning the shots: “Simplicity.”

The new pictures of Matilda come just days after it was revealed she had dropped out of All Stars talks after bagging herself a Towie star boyfriend.

Matilda confirmed she was dating Essex favourite Roman Hackett, 22, last month after setting tongues wagging on social media.

She has since revealed her romantic union meant she had to pull out of discussions with Love Island bosses about an All Stars return.

Matilda’s first stint in the villa came just last summer, with her making it to the final with Sean Stone.

Their relationship on the outside world was short-lived, however, and they split just weeks later.

Speaking to Gogglebox star Joe Baggs for his Not My Bag podcast, Matilda revealed Love Island bosses had spoken to her about a second appearance.

“I was speaking to them before I got with Ro and then as soon as I got with Ro, I just thought, ‘There’s no point’,” she said.

“I had the best time of my whole entire life. Do you know what I mean?

“I had the best time ever. It was literally like a six week holiday. I always had my feet up, I loved life. It was funny.

“I don’t think you realise how much you miss it until you miss it.

“Because some days, I don’t know, some days I’m like, ‘No I’d never,’ but then I’m like, ‘Oh, get me back in there.’

“When I watch it back it’s just such a special feeling cos you would never do that otherwise.

“But All Stars is so different. It would never be the same.”

Luckily for Matilda, Love Island All Stars wasn’t her only shot at landing another TV gig.

The Sun previously revealed she is being lined up to appear on Towie alongside Roman.

Matilda will be the seventh Love Island star to join the cast if it falls into place.

An insider said: “Roman and Matilda Draper have been on several secret dates, now bosses are lining her up to join the cast of Towie.

“They always want the cast to bring their real love lives on screen. 

“Love Island proved Matilda’s not shy of getting into drama and he’s really into her – he’s really into her, so when they start filming the new series, bosses are hoping she’ll make an appearance.”

Towie was contacted for comment.

Matilda’s ex Sean, meanwhile, has teased fans about a villa comeback for Love Island All Stars, which kicks off tonight (January 13, 2025).

At the turn of the new year, he cryptically wrote on Instagram that he was “ready to smash some big goals”.

But Sean doesn’t appear as sentimental as his ex Matilda about his time in Love Island last summer.

He has been busy flogging his old clothes on online marketplace Vinted, including the red shorts he wore for the launch night. Sean priced them at just £5.
