I’ve woken to my noisy neighbour having sex EVERY day for 3 months – his girlfriend sounds like she’s stepped on Lego
THERE’S nothing more annoying than living next door to a noisy neighbour.
Especially if they’re so loud they wake you up in the morning.
He said the woman sounds like she’s “stepping on Lego” when they’re in the throes of passion[/caption]And that’s exactly what’s been happening to Tom, who has been roused every day for the past few months by the sounds of the man next door having sex with his new girlfriend.
He took to TikTok to share the embarrassing situation, as he admitted the woman sounds like she’s “constantly stepping on Lego” while they’re in the throes of passion.
Meanwhile, the man sounds like he’s “haunting a house” – with ghostly moans just like the ones Tom used to hear when he lived in the Tower of London.
However, things took a twist recently, as he explained in the TikTok video.
“After a particularly big (groan), I heard him say the words ‘I love you’,” he said.
“Now it’s nice to know their relationship is progressing.
“However, I didn’t actually hear her response!
“And I’m concerned because I don’t know whether or not it’s because I didn’t hear it or that the worst case scenario his love is unreciprocated.”
The other option is that she may have been “unable to speak at the time”, Tom – a social media star turned comedian – noted.
And while being woken by the “graphic ASMR sounds” was initially somewhat annoying, it’s turned into “what is essentially a radio drama that I get to listen to every morning”.
“Just knock and ask about the state of their feelings,” one person commented on the video.
“EVERY morning? Ugh to be young,” another joked.
“My walls are like paper!” a third admitted.
“I know when upstairs is having a wee, running the bath, chopping on the board, and the stairs – like a herd of elephants!”
“My upstairs neighbours sound like they’re being murdered,” someone else said.
“Have you ever given them a round of applause?” another joked.
The Top Five Reasons Neighbours Squabble
One study by Compare the Market revealed the top reason British neighbour's argue
- Broken fences – top of the board was broken fences and whose responsibility it was to fix it
- Parking: one of the leading drivers of neighbour disputes, with 54.1 per cent of people having issues with people parking in front of their house, parking bay or driveway
- Trees – complaints about a neighbour’s tree cracking your garden path was also common with nearly half of participants finding it frustrating
- Bin wars – outdoor bin etiquette continues to ignite the most furious debates between neighbours
- Nosy Neighbours – some people have their eyes and ears at the ready to have a peek causing problems for others
“I’d start cackling but I’d respond ‘It’s okay buddy. I still love you’,” someone else laughed.
“The noises were so accurate and I haven’t even heard them!” another pointed out.
“I had neighbours like this while I was going through a break up,” someone else recalled.
“It was absolute hell.
“They did eventually break up and move out as well though.”
