Love Island All Stars’ first bombshell revealed as arrival throws villa and new couples into chaos
LOVE Island winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu is officially All Stars’ first bombshell and has caused drama from the off.
The Sun can reveal that the Turkish actress arrived in the villa just hours after the main cast, strutting into the Cape Town abode after they’d played an explosive icebreaker game.
Exes Gabby Allen and Marcel Somerville clashed after she branded him a “red flag” during the fire pit challenge.
But Ekin-Su, 30, then stole the spotlight with her big entrance.
And The Sun can reveal that Maya Jama immediately handed her the reins of the series’ first big twist, which will wreak havoc.
A villa source said: “Ekin revelled in being the centre of attention and loved being the first bomb.
“She strutted in with all eyes on her and then Maya gave her a big task to perform.
“No one will expect what happens next, and drama queen Ekin is the perfect Islander to take the lead.”
Ekin had been locked in talks with Love Island bosses for weeks before agreeing to take part – on the condition that her 2022 villa ex Davide Sanclimenti did not pop up as a bombshell later in the series.
It comes after the public already united two exes – Gabby and Marcel.
The Sun revealed earlier today that the villa drama began when host Maya Jama led the Islanders in an ice-breaker game where the girls were given red flags to hand to a boy of their choosing.
Gabby targeted Marcel because their villa relationship ended in tatters when he cheated on her during a romantic holiday in Mexico.
A villa source said: “No one was surprised when Gabby gave her red flag to Marcel and he took it with good grace, saying he took it ‘with pleasure’.
“But when they try and talk through the situation it gets heated and even Maya branded it ‘spicy’.
“Maya told them they needed to talk it out after the game.
“The islanders were all on eggshells around Gabby and Marcel cos everyone knows how badly it ended.
“Any efforts to play nice and put on a game face almost immediately fell by the wayside – it was crazy how quickly the atmosphere turned.”
Before entering the All Stars villa, Gabby told The Sun she and Marcel hadn’t spoken since their break-up in 2018.
Marcel cheated on Gabby with a holidaymaker while she slept, and then arranged to meet the other woman again when Gabby went to gym.
He’s heading into the dating show fresh from another split, as his marriage broke down last year.
