AFD fights two-story house fire early Monday morning

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Fire Department responded to a fire at a two-story house in southwest Austin early Monday morning.
The house is in the 8500 block of Hanbridge Lane, which is near the intersection of Highway 290 and Scenic Brook Drive.
AFD said the fire was on the back porch and spread to the interior of the home. The Austin active fire incident page said the fire began just before midnight.
Four people evacuated the home. Firefighters were able to put the fire out, and there were no reported injuries, according to AFD.
AFD said the cause of the fire seemed to be an electrical issue on the backside of the house on a wooden deck.
