The popular fast-food chain first launched the iconic purple shake in the UK in August 2024.
The Grimace Shake has returned to the UK as part of McDonald’s Christmas 2024 menu – now fans rejoice as it remains available in some restaurants.
Made with blueberry syrup, with a creamy milkshake base which creates the iconic purple tinge.
Inspired by the iconic Grimace character, the shake debuted in the US during the summer of 2023.
Just last week, McDonald’s Warwick took to Facebook to share some exciting news.
A spokesperson said: “The Grimace Shake is back for a little longer! But hurry up – it’s only here while stocks last.
“Or until Uncle Grimace finds our stock! Don’t miss out! Head to McDonald’s Warwick Tesco Emscote Road now!”
Across the UK McDonald’s restaurants are still offering the purple drink.

Customers can Order McDelivery either through the app to earn Rewards Points or choose one of its McDelivery partners.
Its delivery partners include UberEats, Just Eat and Deliveroo.
But be warned it’s here for a “limited time only”, as stated on the McDonald’s website.
It comes after the fast food chain announced it would be making a major change to its menu on January 6, 2025.
McDonald’s is shaking up its offering with the launch of a never-before-seen wrap and McFlurry.
Foodies can get their hands on a new katsu crispy wrap and grilled katsu wrap.
Both wraps come coated in a katsu sauce with crispy onions, fresh cucumber and lettuce, served in a warm toasted tortilla.
Plus, a never-before-seen dessert has appeared online and in restaurants.
The Milkway McFlurry features a soft dairy ice cream swirled with milk chocolate stars and malt-flavoured pieces topped with a chocolate sauce.
Of course, prices and stock may vary depending on which McDonald’s restaurant you visit.
