Fragrance fans have rushed to review the scent on the Jo Malone website, describing it as a five out of five.
One thrilled customer wrote: “I really love this perfume, I cant even describe how it smells like but I’m obsessed with it.”
Another user excitably added: “Is it the fragrance? Is it the presentation? Is it the packaging? Is it the fact that I want to spray it on all day and smell those delicious scents? No! It’s all of that and more.
“Jo Malone, my go-to fragrances for me, my daughters and my best friends”
A third shopper responded: “Best fragrance ever, really long lasting and the perfect balance of all notes!”
The English Pear and Freesia Cologne is a 9ml bottle of citrus and herbal tones.
It’s described as offering a “zesty burst of mandarin” combined with fresh basil and rich amberwood.
What’s more, is that the Jo Malone London Holly Cracker offers two more products with it for the same price.
A luxury hand wash and hand cream come as an extra treat in the cracker.
The Look Fantastic product description reads: “Spread festive cheer with the Jo Malone London Holly Cracker.
“Making the perfect luxury gift for a loved one, the set features a trio of luxuriously scented essentials to enhance their pampering ritual.”
The Wood Sage & Sea Salt Body and Hand Wash comes as a 30ml product which can be part of your cleansing ritual.
With “velvety lather” it claims it leaves the skin with a soft and supple finish.
The Peony and Blush Suede Hand Cream is a 15ml hand balm that hydrates the skin.
Featuring “delicate notes of red apple, peony and suede” the moisturiser offers both a soft and sweet-smelling finish.
The festive gift is decorated with holly patterns and little silver bows to give it that extra sparkle.
Jo Malone is a hugely popular British fragrance brand and is known for its luxury and distinct scents.
Over the holidays it had a range of Christmas treats available in December.
Now the festive season is over, these seasonal gifts have been reduced so shoppers can snap up a bargain as retailers will be keen to sell off remaining stock.
Shops will often slash prices to encourage sales of these seasonal items as they become less in demand after December.
Waiting until the festive period is over is always a great way to bag a bargain.
Are dupes worth it?
THE Sun asked an independent perfume expert to carry out blind smell tests of popular perfumes and their high street “dupes” to see if the budget versions lived up to the originals.
Noemie Maury is a senior fragrance evaluator who has worked with major fine fragrance and toiletries brands for over a decade.
“High street chains can create perfumes cheaply by buying them from big fragrance manufacturers which grow their own ingredients in-house,” says Noemie.
“Because they use oils from flowers they grow themselves instead of importing ingredients, they save on costs and can create fragrances for high street brands at a discount price.”
It means they can lack the depth and complexity of more expensive brands which use a wide variety of more expensive ingredients.
