Despite giving an “energetic” performance, Chelsee marks didn’t measure up – prompting jeers from the audience.
Her co-star Ferne McCann was awarded 4.5 points higher than Chelseee leaving some fans furious.
One viewer said: “I thought Chelsee deserved higher marks tbh.”
Another added: “The judges cant have a go at Chelsee for not skating on her own, Ferne didn’t skate on her own either so not happy with the judges right now.”
Someone else said: “So give the same comments as Cheslee to Ferne but Ferne scores higher then Chelsee.”
One said: “Why’re they so hard on Chelsee, she deserved a higher score. She was better than Sam!”
Another added: “Thought Chelsee deserved a higher score tbh.”
One viewer remarked: “Definitely undermarked this was amazing for week 1. Got all my votes.”
Someone else said: “Massively under marked, they were better than Ferne.”
Dancing on Ice judge Oti Mabuse told Chelsee: “I thought you came out like a little pocket rocket.”
However, she remarked that her core strength was an issue – with Christopher Dean added: “When you started the skate I could see the confidence starting to drop a little bit.”
Jayne Torvill added: “A great performance and you obviously can dance,” said Jayne who wanted to see more skating.”
Ashley Banjo ended on a positive note, telling Chelsee: “You should be proud, you really should, as that was a real crowd pleaser for week one.”
Springwatch star Michaela Strachan was at the very top of the leaderboard by a distance of 3.5 points.
Corrie star Sam Aston is in second place whilst former Towie star Ferne McCann is in third.
Former Love Island star Chris Taylor was just two points ahead of Chelsee in second to last place.
Next week the other half of celebrities will perform.
