Inside the Love Island All Stars cast’s battles since finding fame – from club attack, drugs jail and cheating scandal
THE Love Island All Stars cast has been revealed as the second series full of fan favourites returns to South Africa.
Here we take a look at the personal battles the contestants have gone through since first finding fame – from a “near-fatal” nightclub attack, stint in jail and cheating scandals.
Kaz Crossley
Love Island All Stars marks Kaz’s return to television after she was locked up in Dubai in what she described as a “horrifying ordeal” back in 2023.
At the time Kaz told pals she had been locked up with 30 women for days in the United Arab Emirates.
She was freed without charge after being quizzed over an old video of her snorting a substance.
Scott Thomas
Scott was first in the Love Island villa back in 2016, when he came third with then-girlfriend Kady McDermott.
The pair had a very turbulent two-year relationship before splitting up.
In the podcast Boots presents Taboo Talk, Scott told how he gave up drinking after his job was put at risk from a drunk rampage.
Scott said: “The big moment for me was when I got escorted out of a work event.
“I’d been out the night before to take the wind out of my sails and wasn’t all pent up. But I woke up late and was pretty much half-cooked when I turned up to this Chairman’s Luncheon. I ended up getting escorted out just for being so drunk.
“I had one of the directors in a headlock, saying ‘come here you’.
“I woke up the next day and my team knew all about it, my business partner wouldn’t speak to me, I nearly lost my biggest client and I just knew this couldn’t go on anymore.
“I was a nightmare when I drunk. I became a different person. I was unfiltered and could become quite nasty. Not aggressive, but full on. I would tell you exactly what I thought in that moment and could upset people.”
Curtis Pritchard
CURTIS Pritchard and his brother AJ were viciously attacked at a nightclub in 2018.
The pair were set upon by a gang of eight thugs – leading Curtis to need knee surgery in order to save his dancing career.
At the time, Curtis said “it could have been fatal” after he acted as a human shield to save his brother.
Marcel Somerville
Marcel, 38, had out on his wife Rebecca Vieira last year after she was accused of cheating on him with a US pop star.
She admitted to “cheating” on the Blazin Squad star and issued a grovelling apology.
It came six years after the singer had sex with another woman while he and Gabby were on holiday together in Mexico.
His rep said at the time: “Sadly the rumours are true, Gabby and Marcel have split up. Marcel can’t really defend his actions as he knows he did wrong and will regret it forever.
“Marcel is upset that he broke the heart of someone he loves and someone that he shared so many special moments with, but with all the good times there are difficult times, and sadly Marcel and Gabby had been in a bad place at this stage.
“Gabby was a special part of my Marcel’s life, and he hopes one day she can find it in herself to forgive him.”
Gabby Allen
Personal trainer Gabby, 32, came fourth with Blazin’ Squad’s Marcel Somerville in 2017.
After his cheating scandal, they split – and she was later linked to Jacqueline Jossa’s husband Dan Osborne after they were pictured getting close on a yacht in Marbella.
Jacqueline, 32, who plays EastEnders’ Lauren Branning, later walked out on Towie star Dan, 33, after learning he’d sent her a flirty message.
Dan and Gabby both denied anything happened.
