Terpstra’s second of the night was his prettiest, as he beat two defensemen by cutting across the middle and backhanded one over Johnson.
For the first time all season, the Spruce Kings scored shorthanded as McNeil completed his hat-trick, beating Winn with a wrist shot off a pass from Cummings.
The Bulldogs responded just 25 seconds later as Kenyon McIsaac scored on the power-play driving to the net.
Terpstra completed his owned hat-trick at 15:56 to get the Bulldogs within one, before Will Moore scored his 11th of the season to re-open a two goal edge.
Nicolas Papineau finished the game off with an empty net goal at 18:52.
