Tottenham confirmed XI vs Tamworth: Mikey Moore starts FA Cup tie
The Tottenham Hotspur team which will take on Tamworth in the third round of the FA Cup has been announced.
Ange Postecoglou has named his Tottenham team v Tamworth
Tottenham beat Liverpool 1-0 in the Carabao Cup in midweek to take a narrow advantage into the second leg of the semi-final and are today looking to cement their place in the next round of the world’s oldest domestic cup competition.
Tamworth have already shocked Macclesfield, Huddersfield Town and Burton Albion to reach the third round.
Today is unquestionably the biggest day in Tamworth’s history with the club hoping to pocket over £250,000, with prize money for reaching this stage, television rights and extra sponsorship money all accounted for.
With the Lamb Ground holding a capacity of 4,963 (with just over 500 seated), this has all the flavours of a classic FA Cup tie, one of which Tottenham will keen to avoid being a famous banana skin.
The hosts are currently 16th in the fifth tier of the English football pyramid, while Tottenham have had a far from ideal league campaign and currently find themselves in twelfth place in the Premier League table.
What is the Tottenham team vs Tamworth?
As expected, Ange Postecoglou has made some changes from the starting XI which beat Liverpool:

Subs: Austin, Spence, Dorrington, Bergvall, Olusei, Kulusevski, Son, Solanke, Lankshear
