Sebastian Avram Senior Design System Engineer 2y Report this post An engineer on Reddit created this fake CV, applied with it at a lot of big companies (including Reddit, Dropbox, Bolt and Robinhood) and got a 90% call back rate. What does this mean?A lot of people are missing the point, which is not to “fake it until you make it” or trying to get a job by lying, but to point out how many flaws are in the current automated recruitment processes and show how far can get you having big names listed as experience and adding some buzzwords. It does not even matter that most of the bullet points are complete nonsense, that a lot of the technologies listed don’t even exist, that there is a lot of contradictory information, not even the offensive remarks.I recommend reading the whole thread and maybe reflect a bit on it.https://lnkd.in/et5uDQBb 583 43 Comments Like Comment Veronica Whitesell Serial Entrepreneur | CEO at Dynamite R&D | Founder of Off Road Mode | Renewable Energy Advocate |All...
