Bournemouth leading race for Liverpool sensation Ben Doak but Cherries attacker could go other way in swap transfer
BOURNEMOUTH hope to win the race for Liverpool’s flying Scottish winger Ben Doak — with one eye on losing Antoine Semenyo.
The Cherries have moved ahead of Crystal Palace in the chase for 19-year-old Doak but may be willing to wait until the summer before signing him.

He was not in the matchday squad for Saturday’s 1-0 FA Cup defeat at home to Blackburn.
Palace are reluctant to meet the fee but Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola may go close — if Semenyo heads for a major move away.
The Ghana star, 25, is fancied by both Liverpool and Newcastle but valued at £50m.
That make a departure in the winter window a long shot.
He is now Cup-tied after scoring against West Brom as a second-half sub on Saturday.
It may suit all parties for Doak and Semenyo to move in the summer.
But Liverpool’s decision on him could revolve around selling one of their forward line.

Richard Hughes is now sporting director at Anfield after leaving the South Coast club.
Newcastle will have a say in the race, too, as they have eyes on Semenyo or Nottingham Forest’s Anthony Elanga as a future star capture.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are demanding a stunning £30m for unsettled Harvey Elliott as Borussia Dortmund try to buy him.
The German giants see the midfielder as a replacement for Donyell Malen, who looks set to sign for Aston Villa.
But the Kop price is more than they are prepared to pay.
