Pamela Anderson Talks Gia Coppola’s ‘The Last Showgirl’ in Simple Sandal Heels on ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers’
Pamela Anderson sat down for an interview on an episode of “Late Night With Seth Meyers” which aired on Jan. 8 via NBC. Anderson spoke about the important role her son Brandon played in landing her role in “The Last Showgirl,” working with Gia Coppola on the film and why she chose to style herself.
The “Baywatch” star kept things simple for her talk show appearance, sporting a classic pair of black sandal heels. Simple in composition, the thespian’s pick featured what appeared to be textural black suede uppers and thick and sturdy straps that wrapped around Anderson’s feet, kept in place with the help of adjustable buckle closures.
Rounded open toes gave way to 4 to 5-inch stiletto heels, offering the former Playboy Playmate a substantial boost in height. For those looking to replicate Anderson’s footwear moment, top brands like Manolo Blahnik, Stuart Weitzman, Ralph Lauren, Gianvito Rossi, Aquazzura and Jimmy Choo all feature comparable styles for a range of price points and sizes.
The Canadian-American model partnered her sandal heels with an all-black ensemble, opting for a sophisticated monochromatic look. Anderson wore a sleeveless turtleneck top fixed with a unique tie applique slung around the neck. On the bottom, the actress wore simple black slacks.
Regarding shoes, Anderson is renowned for her penchant for high heels — especially the stiletto and platform-soled styles she frequently wore in the ’80s and ’90s. Anderson regularly wears pointed-toe and platform pumps and heeled sandals in a range of unique textures and vibrant colors from brands including Christian Louboutin, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Mink.
“The Last Showgirl” is an upcoming drama film directed by Gia Coppola. The film centers around Shelly, played by Pamela Anderson, a seasoned showgirl who must plan for her future when her show abruptly closes after a 30-year run.
