Snow totals in New York City this weekend
NEW YORK (PIX11) – Less than a quarter inch of snow left a light coating over New York City early Saturday morning.
By 7 a.m. Central Park had a total of 0.5 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service.
Flakes tapered off a little after 7 a.m. and left behind some lingering flurries for the rest of the morning, according to NWS forecasters. Officials warn that roads may still be slick due to light snow.
Alternate side parking is suspended on Saturday for weather operations but parking meters remain in effect.
The rest of the day is expected to bring drier conditions with temperatures in 30s.
