Tottenham refuse to give up on Randal Kolo Muani despite Juventus blow
Tottenham Hotspur are still far from out of the race for Randal Kolo Muani even though some reports now indicate that Juventus are currently well-poised to sign the striker.
Is Juventus Randal Kolo Muani’s preferred destination?
While it was reported earlier this week that Spurs are on the verge of reaching an agreement with Kolo Muani’s representatives, the situation appears to have changed over the last few days.
A number of outlets have reported that the striker has also greenlit a move to Juve when the Old Lady reached out to him.
Further, some sources have even alleged that the France international prefers a move to the Allianz Stadium over his other options.
Tottenham have not given up on Randal Kolo Muani
However, TBR Football now make it clear that Spurs are not prepared to concede in the race just yet and continue to push to bring the PSG man to N17.
In fact, it is explained that Juventus have not won the race for Muani just yet as the forward has not just said ‘yes’ to the Serie A giants, but he has also done so to Tottenham and Man Utd.
According to the update, Ange Postecoglou‘s men have promised the forward that he will play a ‘key role’ in their side.
In fact, the Bianconeri themselves insist that they have not won the race for Kolo Muani and that the Frenchman is still talking to others.
Tottenham also assessing other options
TBR Football assert while Spurs remain extremely keen on signing the player, they are not putting all their eggs in the Kolo Muani basket.
The Lilywhites are also studying other strikers across Europe, including Lille’s prolific marksman Jonathan David.
The publication adds that while there are also other clubs who admire Kolo Muani, as things stand, Spurs and Juventus are the most advanced in terms of discussions with PSG.
It is suggested that the former Eintracht Frankfurt man’s decision could ultimately come down to who offers the most attractive package and guarantee of minutes.
