Vernon made the most of their powerplay opportunities, going 3-for-9. Goaltender Jari Kykkanen stood tall under pressure, making 30 saves on 36 shots, with Marko Bilic stepping in during the third period to add 7 saves on 8 shots.
Brooks capitalized on their chances, going 5-for-8 on the powerplay. Bandits captain Ethan Beyer had a standout performance, scoring two goals and adding two assists.
