SUNY Empire launching online business program fully in Spanish
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- SUNY Empire is launching SUNY's first Spanish language online Bachelor of Business Administration program for Fall 2025.
The 124-credit program teaches accounting, economics, finance, human resource management, and more for bilingual students in the state and abroad. It will be taught fully online and entirely in Spanish.
The president of the university said it is imperative more now than ever before to get similar programs up and running.
"There are more than 2.7 million Spanish speakers in the state of New York. There are more than 41 million in the entire United States, and the United States will be the second largest Spanish speaking country by 2060, so we know we have a role to play in helping these people have access to affordable, high quality online education," Pres. Lisa Vollendorf said.
