2 arrested in connection with series of robberies near Hyde Park
AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Two suspects were arrested in connection with a series of robberies that happened near the Hyde Park neighborhood just before Christmas.
The Austin Police Department's Violent Crimes Task Force arrested Andre Center, 47, and a juvenile and charged them both with Credit Card Abuse, according to APD.
APD said additional charges may be pending.
According to police, multiple robberies happened on the nights of Dec. 22 and Dec. 24 in the 600 block of Maiden Lane then fled on foot. In early January, APD released images of a suspect fleeing through the neighborhood on foot and asked the public to help identify him.
