Aline Pereira among additions to Karate Combat 52 in Miami
Aline Pereira, sister of UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira, will return to the Karate Combat pit Jan. 24 in Miami, Fla., promotion officials confirmed to MMA Fighting.
Pereira will face Argentina’s Gisele Luna.
The card will also feature UFC veteran Lucas Martins, who takes on Ilyas Khamzin.
Pereira, an experienced kickboxer and 1-2 in MMA, successfully made her Karate Combat debut in October with a left hook knockout over Dee Begley in just under three minutes. Luna started her MMA career at 5-0 but lost three straight in 2024.

Martins fought seven times across three weight classes under the UFC banner between 2013 and 2016, scoring finishes in all three wins and earning a pair of bonuses. Khamzin holds a MMA record of 13-4 with all bouts taking place under the Russian Cagefighting Championship banner.
Karate Combat 52 will also highlight the return of knockout machine Robelis Despaigne, who re-enters the pit to face Dana White’s Contender Series veteran Marcos Brigagao after his stunning 4-second knockout debut in December.
