DOI star Mollie Pearce in nasty accident and forced off the ice for a MONTH after devastating injury
DANCING On Ice star Mollie Pearce has revealed she was forced off the rink for a month after a devastating wrist injury.
Mollie fractured her wrist before even meeting her pro partner Colin Grafton, leaving her unable to train for weeks.

“So we were off the ice for four weeks. We had some tough days with that. I think we were really excited to get back on, and you know, it felt like a big setback.”
But the pair made the best of a bad situation.
Colin explained: “We used it to our advantage and practised in a dance studio. We got to know each other better. It was difficult being off the ice and not training, but we’re back better than ever.”
Now back on the rink and preparing for Sunday’s launch, Mollie is trying to rebuild her confidence.
The star – who shot to fame when 7 million people tuned in to watch the finale of The Traitors last year – added: “It’s more the nerves that worry me.”
She added: “It took me a minute and I think I had to overcome the fear of falling again especially with my solo skating which we’re getting there with, I feel like we turned a chapter the last two weeks.”
The pair also opened up about their growing friendship, with Mollie saying working with Colin has been an incredible experience both on and off the ice.
She said: “Getting to meet Colin, he has been an amazing partner.
“It’s such a privilege to skate with a professional – it’s something not so many people get to do.
She added: “I feel like we’re best friends – it’s crazy how close you get so quickly.
“It’s such an intense experience. If you don’t get on, then it’s really difficult.
Colin agreed, adding that their off-ice friendship has been key to their success.
He said: “When I’m on the ice, I’m a coach and a friend, and off the ice, we can just decompress, relax, have a glass of wine, and watch a movie – it has been super nice.
“We’ve had a lot of train rides together, so we’re very lucky that we get on as well as we do.”
Mollie hopes her time on the show will improve visibility of those with disabilities, being born with several fingers missing from her right hand – something that was discovered while she was still inside the womb.
The Traitors star is also breaking barriers on Dancing On Ice as an ambassador for Colitis and Crohn’s.
She opened up about her experience skating with a stoma bag, saying it hasn’t held her back during training with pro partner Colin Grafton.
