Littler, 17, was named BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year and runner-up to Olympic gold medalist Keely Hodgkinson for the main prize in 2024.
But he’s being tipped to go one better in 11 months time.
Littler secured a comfortable 7-3 victory over Michael van Gerwen to become the youngest ever PDC World Darts Championship winner on January 4.
The Warrington-born teenager averaged just over 102 and threw 12 180s in a darting masterclass as he claimed the £500,000 first prize and lifted the Sid Waddell Trophy for the first time.
It looks a difficult assignment for anyone to topple Littler in the upcoming year, but William Hill make Lando Norris the closest challenger.
