Harry Potter – De Vere House Room 2 Lady Elizabeth
You can rent a room in what was used as Harry Potter’s childhood home[/caption] The exposed brick and fire creates a very cosy atmosphere in the house[/caption] Harry and Hermione visit the house in the penultimate film[/caption]Harry Potter’s childhood home is one of the most iconic locations from the Deathly Hallows, and is every Potterhead’s dream.
In the movie, Harry and Hermione stumble upon Potter cottage in Godric’s Hollow during the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.
Based in Lavenham, Suffolk, which was the location of the fictional village Godric’s Hollow in the films, two guests can now rent a room in the house on Airbnb.
Inside, you can enjoy four poster beds and a traditional English breakfast. Make sure to spend time in a special guest sitting room where you can toast marshmallows and crumpets over the fire.
Game of Thrones – The Potter’s Cottage
Game of Throne fans will remember seeing this beautiful cottage in Winterfell[/caption] Luckily, the interior has been made up beautifully with a traditional finish[/caption]The Potter’s Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage on the Castle Ward Estate National Trust Estate in Northern Ireland, and used as a filming location for Game of Thrones.
The cottage is located in the former farmyard that became Winterfell, the capital of the Kingdom of the North, in the very first series.
Up to four guests can stay in the cosy cottage, as well as two dogs. It’s perfect for nature fans as it has Strangford Lough and miles of walking trails on its doorstep.
Key scenes from the TV drama are right on your doorstep too, from the Whispering Wood to the clock tower next door. Rates vary from £296, based on a two night stay in January.
The Nest – Cape Cove, Scotland
The Scottish waterfront property was used in BBC drama The Nest[/caption] Martin Compston and Sophie Rundle were the owners of the house in the thriller[/caption]The Nest was a hugely successful five-part BBC thriller starring Line of Duty’s Martin Compston and Gentleman Jack actress Sophie Rundle.
But the real star of the show was the stunning waterfront home in Scotland. The glass front property in Argyll and Bute looks over the waters of Loch Long and the Firth of Clyde.
Cape Cove, the luxury home, that has won numerous architectural awards sleeps 10 overall and has five bedrooms.
Making the house even more fabulous, it has a gym, hot tub and outdoor shower, a state of the art BBQ and access to a private pebble beach.
Sex Education – Blistors Farm The Bull Pen
Blisters Farm is the home of Otis’ former girlfriend Ola in Sex Education[/caption]One of the most interesting houses on Sex Education is the home of Otis’ girlfriend turned best mate, Ola.
On the series, she and her dad, Jakob, live in a beautiful cabin-inspired home in the Forest of Dean.
The home, called Blistors Farm The Bull Pen, is available for up to nine guests and has a fun games room, open fire and hot tub. There’s also a pub within walking distance and a shop just 100 yards

Jurassic World – Cragside Garden Cottage, Northumberland
Believe it or not, dinosaurs roam the estate in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom[/caption] The peaceful cottage is in the heart of a National Trust Estate in Rothbury[/caption] You’ll have be treading in the footsteps of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard[/caption]While Jurassic World might be an American franchise, a lot of the film was actually filmed right here in the UK.
Fans will remember the huge Lockwood estate, where the heroes Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, go to try and stop a genetically engineered dinosaur from being sold at auction.
The Hollywood blockbuster filmed in the Cragside Estate in Northumberland. While there won’t be any dinosaurs roaming around, fans of the show are welcome to stay in the Cragside Garden Cottage and enjoy other film attractions
Around the cottage, guests will recognise the house, iron bridge and landscape from the film.
Guests can book to stay in Garden Cottage with the National Trust. The cottage has two bedrooms from £405, based on a two night stay in January. A stay also gets you free access to the Cragside gardens, house and woodlands.
Poldark – Lostwithiel Manor
The ginormous property has been used for multiple shows including Poldark[/caption] The manor gives off royal vibes with the enormous dining room[/caption] Poldark has been filmed on the grounds as have many other shows[/caption]This wildcard rental is The Lostwithiel Manor Estate that sits deep in the Cornish countryside, four miles from Lostwithiel.
It’s a property perfect for a wedding, or special event due to its sprawling size.
Lostwithiel Manor that has been the filming location for so many shows from The Three Musketeers, My Cousin Rachel, Delicious starring Dawn French and of course, Poldark.
