My daughter’s the world’s youngest house flipper having started aged 8 – now she’s made £350k
A YOUNG girl who started renovating properties at the age of just eight years old has opened up on her impressive journey to success.
Alianna Hines might be only 15, but she is believed to be the world’s youngest house flipper.
The youngster’s interest sparked when she was only a child, after being influenced by her mum, Alice, 40, and dad, Claude, 48, who are also in the trade.
To date, she’s transformed over 12 houses and has earned a whopping £350,000 over the years – and she’s only just getting started.
Alianna told Absolutely Business.“I’m currently expanding and exploring new construction, which is building from the ground up.
“I recently just sold my first new construction property and now, I’m working on my second.
“I’ve worked on townhouses, single family homes and I love what I’m doing.
“I don’t want to stop and don’t plan on it.”
The high school student and real estate developer, who is from Washington DC, US, grew up spending hours on housing sites, while her mum worked as a realtor.
From a young age, she’s been surrounded by contractors and in turn, built relationships that have helped with her impressive success.
At age eight, in 2017, she flipped her first house – and now, the rest is history.
She added: “I was very impressionable due to being so young, but I knew I wanted to do what I saw all those contractors do.
“I asked my mum one day if I could try doing it myself and she immediately said yes.
“The first ever house I flipped was a cosmetic renovation.
“It had previously had a fire and half of the roof was missing.”

With a loan of $60,000 [£48,000] from her mum, she joined forces with her cousins, aged 10, 12, 14, and 15, and created their own company, Junior Flips.
Alianna continued: “I was able to pay her back in less than six months, sell the house and make a profit. This then funded our next project.
“I was amazed at how fast the house sold, in less than three weeks.”
With the support and guidance of her family, she’s brought the company – and many houses – from strength to strength.

Now, Alianna purchases all her homes and materials through her company. She has the occasional help from her mum and dad when carrying out tricky tasks, but mostly, all projects are completed 100% on her own.
Alianna hopes to continue growing her business and plans to inspire other children to take on the task, too.
To date, the mini entrepreneur has earned two awards, spoken at multiple events, and has even written two books, focusing on business ideas for kids.

She continued: “I want to have my own TV show and continue flipping throughout high school and college, before eventually expanding into commercial real estate.
“I’d love to build skyscrapers and office buildings in cities all over the world. Possibly even resorts.
“Once I started working for myself, the passion I had skyrocketed and I realised this would be something I’d want to do forever, as my career.
“I honestly don’t have anything to say to people who don’t believe in me, as I’ve learned not to give my time to those who aren’t worth it.”
Alianna’s advice
For those looking to get started, Alianna advised: “My advice for anyone looking at getting into real estate would be to realise your gift and start operating in it as soon as you can.
“The second you do that, everything will fall into place.
“And most importantly, don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty.”
Meanwhile, her mum Alice added: “I have no fears when it comes to Alianna doing this.
“She has learned from the mistakes of her relatives and mentors, who gladly share their advice and input on what to do to be successful.
