Now he fancies a second shot at love in the famous villa.
An insider said: “Scott is way more mature than he was when he first appeared and wants to show the world a new side.
“He thinks it would be a great way to publicise his podcast and his company.
“He also thinks it could be a lot of fun, and would love to find real romance.”
Why did Scott Thomas and Kady McDermott split?
Scott and Kady McDermott began their relationship in June 2016 during series two of Love Island.
Although he coupled up with Zara Holland on day one, a week later Scott recoupled with Kady, who entered as a bombshell.
They stayed together right up until the final — they ultimately finished in third place.
Their relationship ended in December 2017, just months after a massive bust-up.
The couple had moved in together in Manchester after leaving the show.
At the time, Scott told OK!: “It’s nice having our own home. We’ve finally got it really homely and we’re really settled.
“It feels right. We just love getting to spend time together, getting takeaways and chilling out.”
Kady added: “We obviously still bicker about stupid things, but we don’t really argue.

“I think we’ve just got to know each other properly now so we just diffuse things and nip them in the bud.”
While they initially enjoyed settling into their new home, their different approaches to socialising became a point of contention.
Arrested on suspicion of assault
In June 2017, Scott was arrested on suspicion of assault and spent a night in the cells following a drunken row with Kady.
The boozy bust-up was the catalyst behind the couple’s decision to call off their relationship.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police told The Sun Online: “Shortly after 4:35am on Saturday 24 June 2017, police were called to reports of a domestic incident at an address in Stockport.

Released without charge
“He was later released without charge and no further action will be taken.”
The row started after Scott burst into their home with his mates in the early hours.
A source close to the couple explained: “Kady was furious when Scott came into the house drunk.
“They had a huge row and it got out of hand with some pushing and shoving.
“Kady called the police and Scott spent the rest of the night in a cell.

“It was just a drunken row that got blown out of hand.”
Brief reconciliation
Scott and Kady briefly got back together after the argument, before calling time on their relationship for good in December 2017.
An insider told The Sun Online: “Scott and Kady have split again.
“Their relationship was really fiery and they couldn’t stop arguing — they just weren’t getting on at all.
“They’re both really sad to split and obviously the timing makes it worse with it being the run-up to Christmas.”
