'What is going on here?': Trump baffled as judge in his case is replaced and reinstated
Donald Trump late Thursday night asked a simple question about his legal case: "What is going on here?"
The president-elect has his legal matters at top of mind, because the Supreme Court just ruled that he must face sentencing in the criminal matter in which he was convicted of dozens of felonies.
But Trump is still thinking about his civil cases, too, including the major one that led to him getting hit with a massive judgment and getting restrictions on his New York business operations.

That was made clear after Fox News released an exclusive report on Thursday suggesting the judge in Trump's civil business case, brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James, had been replaced.
"FIRST ON FOX: A New York Court assigned a new judge to preside over the civil fraud case against President-elect Trump brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James, seemingly replacing Judge Arthur Engoron, but hours later, the court put him back on the case, sources close to Trump's legal team told Fox News Digital," the outlet reported. "The case and the trial were handled by Judge Arthur Engoron, who was accused by Trump allies of acting with bias against the president-elect, his family and his company."
The report goes on to say, "Sources familiar told Fox News Digital the court sent out an automated email at around 12:45pm on Thursday, notifying the parties that it had assigned New York County Supreme Court Justice Judith McMahon of Staten Island to the case."
"But several hours later, at 4:12pm, attorneys on the case received another automated message from the court system notifying them that Judge Arthur Engoron was assigned back to the case," the report added. "A source close to Trump's legal team told Fox News Digital that they are concerned with the back-and-forth."
The president-elect shared the report on Truth Social, writing only five words: "What is going on here?"
