Love Island icon in talks for second year in a row to appear on All Stars, reveals Joe Baggs

A LOVE Island legend has held talks with bosses about starring in All Stars after pulling out of the last series at the last minute.

Podcast host and show superfan Joe Baggs has revealed 2019 villa star Anna Vakili could be one of the bombshell arrivals.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, he said: “I feel like every Islander that I’ve spoken to has been having chats, across the board. 

“But it does make me think, okay, who is actually going in at a later stage now? And there were a few people that I was speaking to that were potentially weighing it up, like Anna and Mandy [Vakili], who do the Sisters In The City pod.

“Obviously, Anna was on it so long ago. I think they were speaking to her about it. And I actually said, I think she should go for it.

“I think she’d do amazing and her podcast is the funniest thing. So we’ll wait and see if she goes in.”

Pharmacist Anna has turned her attention to pharmacy work and the world of podcasts with sister Mandi following her time in the villa after growing disillusioned with the influencer lifestyle.

The straight-talking reality star looked set to be a big signing for bosses in the 2024 edition but felt it wasn’t the right time in her life to revisit the franchise.

A source told us at the time: “Love Island producers were hell bent on getting Anna for the All Stars series as she was part of the one of the highest rated series of the show ever, and viewers will never forget her blazing row with fellow islander Jordan Hames.

“She was guaranteed to bring the drama, which is just what this series is all about.

“Anna went in for a string of meetings and even got as far as booking the medical all islanders have to take before entering the villa, but then at the last minute had a change of heart.

“She’ll always be grateful for her Love Island changed her life, but feels like you can’t repeat history.

“She has a lot going on, especially with her hit podcast, so decided to focus on that instead.”

Ekin-Su Culculoglu, 30, has already been revealed as one of the bombshell arrivals following her split from fellow show winner Davide Sanclimenti in 2023.

And she’s been working hard to ensure she’s in the best shape possible for the stint in South Africa.

Joe told us: “I thought she would be going in because she goes to mine and my brother’s local gym.

“My brother’s seen her in there for the past couple of months. He texts me, I think she’s definitely going in.

“From memory my brother said [she does] stair climber, a lot of stair stepping, I mean a girl after my own heart because that’s what I like to do really.”

One scenario he’d love to see is Ekin-Su and ex Davide Sanclimenti reunite after their bitter split – though it seems unlikely the Italian stallion will be part of the cast now that he’s settled in the States.

Joe said: “I mean my ideal scenario is Ekin goes in as bombshell they send Davide in Grace [Jackson] comes in steals Davide.

“I keep like plotting loads of things in my head of what could actually happen, but yeah it would just be really interesting to see.

“I think Grace was amazing TV before, so I think if she if she’s definitely going in she’ll be amazing TV again.”
