Another Diddy Doc
Well, wouldn’t you know it? Another documentary about Diddy is coming soon — in the very same month, in fact, as the first Diddy doc. The Great Content Wars have never been more on. The newest documentary, titled The Fall of Diddy, is produced for ID by the same company that made Quiet on Set, the dive into Dan Schneider’s abuse on Nickelodeon sets. Like Quiet on Set, the new documentary will also air on Max. Notable participants in this documentary include D. Woods, a member of Danity Kane; Natania Griffin, who was shot in the face in the infamous ’99 nightclub shooting; multiple employees of Diddy’s, including a former personal driver and a former personal chef; as well as Thalia Graves, who alleges that Combs violently raped her in 2001.
The trailer, out January 9, promises a full examination of Diddy’s legacy, including his impact on the music business and horror stories. “It’s a lot of people like Puffy in the music business,” the trailer ends. “Exposing Puffy means exposing them.” The four-part documentary will be released on January 27 and 28, making it the second Diddy documentary out in January. The first will be Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, out on Peacock on January 14. There is an additional documentary, produced by 50 Cent, Diddy Do It, being made for Netflix. Notably, this documentary is different than the 2023 TMZ special for Tubi titled The Downfall of Diddy. Unfortunately, we must admit that The Fall of Diddy doesn’t have the same ring to it, but it’s still better than the pun.
