Part of La Salle Institute going without heat this week
TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A few areas of La Salle Institute have been without heat for the past few days. The principal of La Salle Institute, Steve Sgambelluri, said repairs are expected to be complete by Monday.
In the meantime, Sgambelluri said that the institute has been increasing temperatures in heated areas and using space heaters to ensure comfort in the areas without heating. Classes and activities are on their normal schedule.
A faulty heating controller and a broken pipe caused the issue, per Sgambelluri.
