Mets 2025 Arbitration Tracker
Unlike last offseason, the Mets don’t have much work to do with arbitration in 2025. They ended the regular season with nine eligible players, but Joey Lucchesi and DJ Stewart elected free agency in lieu of an outright assignment, and the team non-tendered Alex Young. The Mets also agreed to a contract with Sean Reid-Foley to avoid arbitration in November. The only addition to the group is Jose Siri, who they picked up in a trade with the Rays in November. None of the six players are projected to make more than $4.4 million, led by Paul Blackburn and David Peterson.
Below are the Mets’ current arbitration-eligible players. By 1:00 PM EST, all arbitration-eligible players must either agree on a contract for the 2025 season or both sides must file for arbitration. The deadline for both sides to submit arbitration figures is 8:00 PM EST.
- RHP Paul Blackburn (projected to make $4.4 million)
- RHP Tylor Megill (projected to make $2.1 million)
- LHP David Peterson (projected to make $4.4 million)
- OF Jose Siri – Signed for $2.4 million (projected to make $2.3 million)
- OF Tyrone Taylor (projected to make $2.9 million)
- C Luis Torrens (projected to make $1.1 million)
