Cher Talks ‘Cher: The Memoir, Part One’ in Platform Boots on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’
Cher appeared on an episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” which aired on Tuesday via ABC. The musician spoke about how she spent the holidays, making her own pasta sauce, and her memoir “Cher: The Memoir, Part One” being #1 on the New York Times Best Seller list for six weeks.
“Cher: The Memoir, Part One” is the first of a two-part memoir by the singer, and the book was released on Nov. 19› by Dey Street Books.
The “After All” songstress sat down for her interview in a pair of platform heels, a staple of her wardrobe. The performer’s footwear pick featured lofty platform soles accompanied by almond-shaped toes and 4 to 5-inch block heels, offering the star a major boost. Given the lengthy hem of her trousers, it’s hard to see exactly what style of platform shoe Cher is sporting.
As far as platform silhouettes go, the “Strong Enough” singer favors platform boots in all shapes and sizes. It’s safe to assume the same is true here. Brands like Steve Madden, Aldo, Gianvito Rossi, Valentino and Nine West all feature platform boots comparable to Cher’s own for a range of prices and heel heights.
Going monochrome, Cher partnered her platform footwear with a casual and relaxed all-black ensemble. Said look featured baggy high-waisted trousers, what looked like a sheer top and a cropped jacket fixed with edgy silver hardware.
Cher’s shoe style is chameleonic, ranging from casual to glamorous. The “Believe” singer frequently wears black leather and suede boots in a range of heights and silhouettes, from ankle-length booties to over-the-knee platforms.
In the past, she’s also worn wedges and platform-soled pumps both on and off the red carpet. Cher has also dipped her toes into the world of fashion collaborations, starring in Balmain’s Blaze handbag campaign, Ugg’s spring 2022 campaign and launching a Pride Month capsule collection with Versace.
