Troy woman charged with negligent homicide for fatal Selkirk crash
SELKIRK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Bethlehem Police reported that a Troy woman was charged with criminally negligent homicide on Tuesday in connection to a fatal crash in Selkirk. Jacklyn Parker, 24, was initially charged in August 2024 with operating a motor vehicle while ability impaired by drugs.
On August 19, 2024, Parker collided with a car on River Road after allegedly crossing over into the opposite lane of traffic. The driver of the other vehicle, Colleen Selkirk, 60, of Hannacroix, was declared dead at the scene. The investigation remains ongoing.
