Chrissy Teigen’s Baby Wren Has the Cutest Reaction to a Mealtime Mishap & Everyone Is on His Side
Chrissy Teigen may be a fabulous chef, but her service is seriously lacking. At least, if you ask her 18-month-old baby Wren. The Cravings author shared the cutest new photo of her baby boy, who she shares with husband John Legend, and he is not happy about a mealtime mishap.
In a new photo posted on Instagram, Wren sits in his highchair ready to dig into a delicious meal. The only problem? There is no food on his tray! Although Wren looks adorable in his little yellow submarine t-shirt and fresh hair cut (don’t worry, he still has plenty of curls!), the toddler’s face reveals how he truly feels.
“Wren when food isn’t on his tray immediately upon seating,” Teigen explained in the caption. With his pouty lip and furrowed brows, you can tell this kid is frustrated! And, we’re sorry, we know hunger is nothing to make light of, but oh my goodness this baby is adorable!
Apparently, fans couldn’t resist Wren’s adorable face, and mostly people banded together to defend the little cutie. “Wren is like me, cause wtf is the hold up?! ????,” one person jokingly commented. Someone else quipped, “He’s leaving 1 star reviews for sure ????⭐️”
“You have one job, Mom ????,” one person wrote. Another person commented, “Hangry has a face & I’m here for it.” Someone else commented, “I feel the same way when there isn’t a bread basket waiting for me…”
Even the YouTube star Blippi from the popular preschool series commented. “Relatable,” he wrote. Yep, we get it!
The Chrissy & Dave Dine Out star also shares kids Esti, 23 months, Miles, 6, and Luna, 8, with Legend. Cooking and sharing food are important parts of their family time, and in November, the proud mom introduced her two youngest children to a family food tradition to help her cope with the tumultuous election season.
“*Ultimate comfort recipe!!*” she wrote on Instagram. “I think we could all use a good recipe. The past few months have us all feeling stress, unease, discomfort and uncertainty. We can find peace in all sorts of things – therapies, art, breaking things in a rage room. But for me, one of the best things we can do for ourselves is fill our bellies with a wonderful meal.”
She made her kids Jok Moo, “a hearty rice porridge made with spiked pork meatballs.” Teigen said she’s been eating this since she was a baby, and for grown-ups, it’s “the most ultimate hangover cure!”
“The aroma of fresh ginger, green onion, cilantro and garlic will fill your kitchen and the warmth of the creamy rice porridge will warm your bellies. I have about 298 people in my home on a daily basis so I make LOADS at a time but this soup can easily be frozen to eat whenever,” she added, sharing videos of Wren trying the soup and of Luna crouched on the kitchen island to help form the meatballs.
Wren may not appreciate how much work his mom puts into cooking now (especially when the food isn’t on the table on his timeline!), but he will one day.
