Pamela Anderson, Demi Moore, Harrison Ford among 21 first-time individual SAG Awards nominees
A whopping 21* performers received their first individual Screen Actors Guild Awards bids on Wednesday morning, including some famous faces we’ve been seeing onscreen for years.
The nominations list for the 2025 SAG Awards is led by Wicked for film and Shōgun for television, both with five overall bids. The first-time nominees from these projects are Ariana Grande and Jonathan Bailey for the former, and Tadanobu Asano, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Anna Sawai for the latter. (Cynthia Erivo also got in for Wicked, but she’s been nominated before at this guild for the 2019 film Harriet and the 2021 season of Genius.)
Pamela Anderson, Demi Moore, and Harrison Ford are some of the biggest Hollywood names to finally be individually recognized at SAG, for their performances in The Last Showgirl, The Substance, and Shrinking, respectively. (Moore was previously nominated as a member of the ensemble of the 2006 film Bobby.) All three actors also contended at the 2025 Golden Globes, with Moore prevailing in the comedy/musical lead category and jump-starting her Oscar narrative.

Other film stars who received inaugural bids this year include: Anora‘s one-two punch of Mikey Madison and Yura Borisov; Emilia Pérez‘s breakout trans actress Karla Sofía Gascón and her co-star Zoe Saldaña; former James Bond Daniel Craig, from Queer; and Monica Barbaro from the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown.
On the TV side, the SAG newbies include: Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, the two leads from freshman rom-com Nobody Wants This; recent Emmy champs Richard Gadd and Jessica Gunning from the stalker show Baby Reindeer; Nicola Coughlan from the third season of Bridgerton; and Cristin Milioti, who played opposite Colin Farrell‘s titular The Penguin. (This marks Farrell’s second individual Screen Actors Guild bid after 2022’s The Banshees of Inisherin.)
