Stuffed bagel shop opens permanent location in Kingston
KINGSTON, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Following the success of a popup stuffed bagel shop on Broadway, Moonrise Bagels have decided to make it a permanent business decision. "Just the Stuffed" will reopen Thursday with new menu items and new hours.
Moonrise Bagels, owned and operated by Jeremy Rhodes and Ali Chetkof, started in 2020 with an idea to make a pizza inside of a bagel. In 2021, the couple opened their first location in Woodstock.
After vast success, in July 2024, the two opened a Poughkeepsie location and in October 2024 the two started a popup location at 746 Broadway in Kingston on weekends. The popup location, however, only served the company's stuffed bagels.
That concept will continue with the Kingston location, the owners said in a Facebook announcement Friday.
"You really showed up for our pop-up over the last few months and so.. we’ve decided to stay! 746 Broadway is now a permanent Moonrise Bagels location but we’re continuing to do things a little differently here," the announcement stated.
"Just the Stuffed" will only serve the company's famous stuffed bagels.
According to the business, each bagel is stuffed, boiled and baked each day. They also offer nationwide shipping on its website.
From 7:30 a.m. until noon, the business will offer breakfast everything or plain bagels filled with either Bacon, Egg & Cheese; Egg & Cheese; Sausage, Egg & Cheese; or a 100% vegan Sausage, Egg & Cheese. From noon until 7 p.m., the bagels will be filled with a Pastrami Reuben; Buffalo Chicken; or Philly Cheesesteak.
