I-70 in Wabaunsee Co. reopens after semi fire
Update 9:51 a.m.: the Wabaunsee County Sheriff's Office says the westbound lanes are still closed and that crews are working to reopen one lane of the highway. Kansas Department of Transportation trucks are salting the fast lane.
MAPLE HILL (KSNT) - I-70 just south of Maple Hill is shut down after a semi truck fire.
At 5:42 a.m., the Wabaunsee County Sheriff's Office shared a photo of the blaze on social media.
As of 6:12 a.m. the westbound lanes are still closed. The sheriff's office says multiple fire units are on the scene and that nobody is hurt.
