Amazon has 1,000 jobs in NYC area, offers benefits: DOL
NEW YORK (PIX11) – Amazon is hiring for over 1,000 jobs in the New York City area, according to the New York Department of Labor’s website.
According to the New York State Job Bank, some positions are hiring immediately.

Amazon benefits include health care, financial security, such as a 401(k), and stock options. The company also offers adoption assistance and an annual discount on products sold and shipped by the company.

An executive assistant - this position requires only a high school degree, experience with Microsoft Office, and experience with calendar management. According to the listing, it pays $50,000 annually in the lowest geographic market and up to $107,100 annually in the highest geographic market.
According to the listing, a merchandising manager position requires two years of marketing experience and has a starting salary of $54,400 annually. A brand designer position requires two years of design experience and a diverse online portfolio. The starting pay for a brand designer is $69,400 annually.
For seasoned workers with more than five years of working experience, they check their listing for a senior program manager, which has a starting pay of $104,100 annually and can reach up to $185,000 per year.
Another mid-career position is a senior innovation engineer, with a maximum pay of $205,600.
