Anime Fest coming to Albany in June
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Crowne Plaza Desmond Hotel will be hosting the Albany Anime Fest this summer. The event is scheduled for June 22.
Fans will be able to celebrate their love for "Dragon Ball Z," "Naruto," "One Piece," "Demon Slayer," and other anime with fellow members of the community. Guests can peruse a variety of manga, collectibles, and memorabilia from numerous vendors and artists, as well as enjoy panel discussions and appearances with industry professionals, including voice talents such as Ray Hurd, Jennifer Cihi, and Phil Parsons.
The Albany Anime Fest is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will conclude with a live "Sailor Moon" concert at 5:30 p.m.
The Crowne Plaza Desmond Hotel is located at 660 Albany Shaker Road. You can buy Albany Anime Fest tickets online through the event's website or at the door on the day of the event.
