Home scorched by fire in southeast Topeka
TOPEKA (KSNT) - Topeka firefighters put out a house fire in the southeast part of the city Tuesday afternoon.
Fire crews with the Topeka Fire Department were called on Jan. 7 to the 1200 block of Southeast 33rd Street in response to a house on fire.
Fire crews doused flames coming from a single-story home in the area. A 27 News reporter captured photos of the scene showing firefighters surrounding a home covered with black burn marks.
