Troopers identify woman found dead at Vanderbilt Mansion
HYDE PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- State Police have been investigating the suspicious death of a woman found at the Vanderbilt Mansion historical site in Hyde Park since December 6. On Monday, troopers identified the woman as Helen Pardini, 69, of Poughkeepsie.
On December 6, Pardini was found by a hiker where she was lying face down near the east shore of the Hudson River south of Bard Rock. The Dutchess County Medical Examiner had confirmed on December 10 that Pardini was a white woman with brown eyes and gray hair, weighed 112 pounds, was five foot five, and had no scars, marks, or tattoos.
