The aftermath of severe UK weather left the garden under deep, dirty water.
He captioned the update: “I think this is the first time in 34 years we have simultaneously had flooding and lying snow.
“In any event the roads to the garden are flooded so no vehicles in or out today.”
In a further post, Monty added: “It is developing into the sort of flood we used to get once every 10 years but is now happening 3 or 4 times a year.”
One follower wrote: “I do hope everything recovers.
“Your garden is inspirational and you have worked so hard and with so much love and dedication to create it.”
Another penned: “Goodness!!!!! Hope all safe.”
A third commented: “So worrying, am so sorry. Wasn’t it November you had a flood too?”
While a fourth chimed in: “It’s heartbreaking to see that flood damage it seems a lot more common these days.”
It comes as Monty recently addressed his future on Gardeners’ World – after landing a new job away from the BBC hit.
Previously, it was revealed that Monty would be hosting a new show, Monty Don’s British Gardens, which starts on January 10.
Gardeners’ World fans need not worry, as the new project hasn’t stopped Monty from committing to more series.
In an interview with Radio Times, the star said: “I never make plans beyond two years, but I’ve agreed to do another two (from January 2025).
“Every time I think, ‘Am I really going to do this?’ But the truth is that I do enjoy it.
“I’m lucky because it’s in my own garden. If the programme is made well, I’ll continue.”
Gardeners’ World airs on BBC Two and is available on BBC iPlayer. Monty Don‘s British Gardens begins on January 10 and will also be available on BBC iPlayer.

Monty met his wife Sarah while studying at university and they married on July 29, 1983.
The pair ran their own couture costume jewellery business from the early 80s to 1987.
Their pieces were sold in 30 countries worlwide, featured in Vogue, and boasted celebrity fans including the now late Princess Diana and Michael Jackson.
The brand – Monty Don Jewellery – was stocked in Harrods and Harvey Nichols, and the couple went on to open their own store in London’s exclusive Knightsbridge.
Monty previously told the Independent that Sarah was “75 per cent of the designing brains” while he was the salesman.
Sadly, the couple’s business went under in 1987 following the Wall Street Crash and they faced bankruptcy.
However, since then, Sarah has switched her attention to writing and is an author.
Monty, meanwhile, has forged his own successful career as a horticultural expert, writer and TV presenter.
