Families celebrate Three Kings Day at annual Bronx event
THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – Some families in the Bronx celebrated Three Kings Day at a party hosted by a local business and volunteers on Monday.
The annual Three Kings Day event happened after a parade hosted by El Museo del Barrio in East Harlem.
It is the day Christians commemorate the arrival of the Three Kings to the Nativity. The party is put on by the owner of a McDonald's franchise on Bruckner Boulevard.
Each year families from nearby homeless shelters are invited to join the festivities with food and gifts for the children.
