Nikki Glaser's Golden Globes 2025 Hosting Salary Revealed, Likely Returning to Host in 2026!
Nikki Glaser was a hit at the 2025 Golden Globes, and will almost surely be back to host the Golden Globes next year, according to a new report.
The 40-year-old comedian’s salary for the hosting gig on Sunday (January 5) was revealed via Deadline.
Nikki was reportedly paid a bit more than $400,000 for her first hosting gig, and the fee will rise “significantly” if she comes back to host the 2026 Golden Globes according to a well placed source.
She signed a three-year deal in 2024 to host the Golden Globes.
She hinted at both her pay raise and return for the 2026 Globes in an interview with Howard Stern, saying: “There was a past host who said how much he got paid in his monologue and I got less than that, but that’s OK. I’ll get more next year…I feel well paid for what I do. I’m alright.”
Regarding the past host, Jerrod Carmichael stated at the 2023 Golden Globes that he was being paid $500,000 to host the ceremony.
“More was invested this year in Nikki Glaser and her team than any previous host at the Golden Globes,” an individual close to the show told Deadline, including wardrobe for the “already glamorous” comedian.
Producers put together a “larger than usual joke writing team for Glaser than Globes hosts usually get,” the report adds.
“It was an investment in Nikki as a long term solo host,” the insider told the outlet. “Worked out well for everyone, I’d say.”
