HBO Announces 'The Last of Us' Season 2 Premiere Date!
Get ready for the return of The Last of Us!
During Sony’s press conference at the Consumer Electronics Show on Monday (January 6), co-creator, writer, and executive producer Neil Druckmann announced that season two of the Emmy-nominated series will premiere in April 2025. A new teaser trailer was also released!
Keep reading to find out more…Here’s the season 2 logline: “Five years after the events of the first season, Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) are drawn into conflict with each other and a world even more dangerous and unpredictable than the one they left behind.”
Returning cast members also include Gabriel Luna as Tommy, and Rutina Wesley as Maria. New cast members include Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, Danny Ramirez as Manny, and Jeffrey Wright as Isaac. Catherine O’Hara will also be guest starring.
