NEW YORK (PIX11) – You will be paying more to use a Citi Bike in New York City in 2025.
The cost of a single ride pass, along with overage and e-bike fees, are all going up starting Monday, according to Citi Bike officials. The day pass will increase in price in February.
The annual and monthly membership prices are unaffected, Citi Bike officials said.
The single-ride pass now costs $4.99, with overage and e-bike fees increasing to $0.38 per minute. The day pass will go up to $25 on Feb. 3, with its overage fees costing $0.38 per minute.
E-bike fees for day pass users will increase to $0.38 per minute on Monday.
Citi Bike members will now be charged $0.25 a minute for e-bike and overage fees. Reduced fare bike share members will see e-bike fees increasing to $0.13 per minute and overage fees to $0.25 per minute.
Lyft Pink All Access members now pay $0.25 per minute in e-bike and overage fees.
New Jersey Citi Bike users will also see price hikes, according to officials. Citi Bike also increased prices last summer, citing higher-than-anticipated maintenance costs.
