Hole cut into roof of Brooklyn bodega during burglary: NYPD
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A suspect is accused of cutting a hole into the roof of a Brooklyn bodega to steal from it on Nov. 1, according to the NYPD.
It happened at a 9th Street bodega around 3:15 a.m., police said. After coming in through the roof, the suspect allegedly took $900 from a cash register, an unknown amount of cash from an ATM and merchandise, according to authorities.
They're then accused of fleeing the bodega through the hole in the roof, police said.
The suspect was last seen boarding a Manhattan-bound D train at the 4th Avenue-9th Street subway station, according to authorities.
