Two arrested after attempted Kwik Shop robbery
TOPEKA (KSNT) - The Topeka Police Department (TPD) arrested two people suspected to be involved in an aggravated robbery attempt.
Sunday night at 8 p.m. officers responded to a reported aggravated robbery attempt to the Kwik Shop at 746 NE Wabash Ave.
According to TPD, the two individuals believed to be involved in the robbery had left the area. Officers located the suspects near the 800 block of NE Kellam Ave.
An 18-year-old man and a juvenile male, 15, both of Topeka were arrested.
The 18-year-old was arrested on the following charges:
- Attempted Aggravated Robbery
- Aggravated Assault
The juvenile male was arrested on the following charge:
- Attempted Aggravated Robbery
