The star is preparing to compete on Dancing On Ice[/caption]Michaela, 58, has hosted Springwatch on the BBC for over a decade, as she first made her debut in 2011.
The TV star is one of the regular faces to front the other seasonal editions, Autumn and Winterwatch for BBC Two.
But she took a break from her busy TV schedule to officially welcome a new member into the family.
The veteran star took to X – formerly known as Twitter – to post a heartwarming tribute to the happy couple.
She beamed from ear to ear as she posed with her step-daughter and helped the bride get ready for her big day.
Her look included a stunning orange patterned dress with a ruched neckline in the glam video montage made up of photos from the day.
In terms of jewellery, she opted for a single round disc pendant necklace to complement her brown leather open-toe sandals.
When the weather got colder for the outdoor celebrations, she donned a comfortable bright red shawl.
She captioned the emotional post: “So proud of my stunning step daughter Jade & my new son in law Dale.
“Their wedding was just perfect & they are such a perfect couple.”
Michaela added: “It was a glorious day, absolutely stunning location, emotional, funny, poignant speeches, lots of laughs, plenty of dancing. Truly a day to remember,”
On Springwatch, her co-stars include the likes of Bill Oddie, Kate Humble, and Chris Packham on the long-running nature show.
She is also known for her roles on programmes such as The Really Wild Show and Countryfile.
But now the star is due to take to the rink as one of the contestants for the upcoming seventeenth series of the hit ITV ice dancing show.
She will partner up with Mark Hanretty as the duo will attempt to impress the likes of Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo.
