My £1.7k pram got nicked on a London street – thank God my baby was safe, people say it’s ‘lowest of the low’
A MUM has issued an urgent warning to other parents after her £1,760 pram was stolen in London.
She explained that she was on holiday in the capital when the shocking situation happened.
She stood alongside the iCandy pram, with her baby inside, in a video on TikTok, as she wrote over the top: “Moments before someone stole my iCandy pram in London.
“Mums, your pram isn’t safe in London!”
The image showed her baby in her car seat, attached to the frame.
She further explained that she had been transferring the car seat from the pram base into the car when opportunistic thieves nicked it.
“I just was putting my baby in the car seat before putting the pram in the boot, as I always do that in my hometown, but in London they just stole it,” she said.
“Omg what da hell? A whole iCandy pram?!” another questioned.
“Noo girll just the frame,” the mum replied.
“All I did was put the car seat in the car, turn around, and someone has ran off with the frame.”
Asked “which area in London”, she replied: “Central, near Oxford Street”.
“This is why I get so paranoid when places tell you to leave your pram somewhere cos people are ruthless,” one person commented on the video.
“Oh my God! I’ve left my prams loads I have an Aston Martin one and no one has ever even attempted this – it’s shocking,” another wrote.
“People wonder why I won’t go into London on my own with a Dior pram, these kind ff things happen,” a third said.
“I don’t even wear my jewellery – I wear a basic gym set when going into London, it’s actually scary.”
“How much do those things cost?” someone else asked.
With the mum replying: “£1760”.
It appears she had the Peach 7 in the shade Biscotti.
“This has always been a thing even here in Amsterdam,” another warned.
“That’s why I bought an AirTag for my pram.”
“Lowest of the low stealing a pram,” someone else raged.
“Omg can’t believe that happened to you,” another wrote.
“Did you end up getting the same new frame?”
“Noo I’m looking for the same one still,” the mum sighed.
