Love Island All Stars signs up stunning finalist as cast arrive in South Africa
LOVE Island star India Reynold has become the latest contestant to sign up to the new All Stars series.
The model, 33, flew out to South Africa, where they are filming the spin-off, and is currently in hiding ahead of her villa entrance.
It comes after India told The Sun in November that she was “in talks” with producers to return to the dating show.
A source has now told The Sun: “India was a huge star during her time on the show – she is stunning and great TV.
“She flew out to South Africa over the weekend and is now in hiding waiting for the show to kick off.
“India is a bit older than some of the other cast and really is looking to find The One.”
ITV had no comment when contacted.
India starred on series five in 2019 and finished third place with basketball player Ovie Soko – but they split just four months after leaving the villa.
She admitted that dating post Love Island was difficult, but said that hasn’t deterred her from giving the show a second shot.
Just two months ago, India said was keen to join the new All Stars cast.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun at the time, India said: “I’m so on the fence, I’m a never say never person.
” I feel like I’m a little bit older now, when I did it it was five years ago now. I think I’d be a little bit different.
“I’ve been single for two years, I enjoy it…I haven’t really dated anyone seriously in that time.
“As much as I would love to find someone, I can’t say I’ve been putting that much time into doing it.
“But maybe Love Island would be the right thing because then you’re shoved with a load of people.”
India admitted that having a relationship in the public eye had it’s pros and cons – but said she’s not against throwing herself back into another dating show.
“I think it’s been so long since the show, I think having a relationship in the public eye, it’s quite difficult – it kind of warned me off and I was a bit scared to get involved in anything like that again,” she said.
“But yes [I’m open to Love Island], never say never.”
The brunette stunner she would treat the experience very different this time around.
She told us: “Five years is a long time, I guess I’ve matured and I know what I want a little bit more – you know what traits you look for in a partner maybe a bit clearly than when you’re younger.
“I’ve definitely learnt a lot about myself, the older you get the more confident you become in yourself and you’re not bothered about what people think and whether it would suit them.”
Love Island is know for its fiery characters and stepping on rivals toes in a bid to find love.
But India said she won’t be returning to the villa all guns blazing, she shared “I don’t think that’s me as a person. Some people are and I love watching them and they’re so sassy and they’ve got all the confidence.”
The star is hoping her unlucky-in-love romantic life will start to turn around very soon.
She said: “I’ve had a lot of bad relationships and my only regret from some bad relationships is to not have left sooner. So when you see the red flags or when something happens, then just go.
“There are individual circumstances that can be different but most of the time when someone shows their true colours, see them and go.”
